Features or elements delineated inside of brackets (< >)

The tag name is NOT case sensitive

Attributes:

Parameters inside of tags that define values for a given

tag. The attribute name is NOT case sensitive

An attribute is assigned a value with an equal sign (=)

The values of attributes may be case sensitive

Attribute values with more then one word require

quotation marks.
